Who We Are
Ramón’s days are packed with activity. He develops relationships with organizations that want to engage with the Hispanic community and creates and executes strategic marketing plans for clients. He often speaks about the exciting world of Hispanic marketing at various marketing events. Ramón also serves as a marketing consultant for SC’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with Latinos United.

What he does for fun: Spends time with his wife and family and skimboards at the beach
A typical day for Gustavo involves managing UMG’s team, projects, and finances. He’s the team’s go-to guy for any question or problem. Gustavo also serves as Director of Government Affairs for SC’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and chair of the Supervisory Committee for CommunityWorks Federal Credit Union. He also volunteers with the Children’s Museum of the Upstate.
Best brain food for work: M&M’s
What he does for fun: Plays sand volleyball, spends time with his wife and family, and watches Yankees baseball
Luis brings years of media and digital marketing experience from his time at Walmart, Sprint, and Denny’s, where he currently leads Digital, Media, and Hispanic Marketing. A graduate of Harvard with a degree in History, Luis has served in marketing roles for several start-ups, including CPGlink, GroupVisual.io, and netBlazr. Luis currently sits on the customer advisory boards of digital marketing companies NinthDecimal, Yext, and Cardlytics and is a member of the ANA Multicultural Marketing, Integrated Marketing, and Digital Marketing committees.
Secret talent: Speaks German, Spanish, and English
Little-known fact: Born during an earthquake in Los Angeles, CA
Tim is an entrepreneur, real estate investor, and thought leader. He brings more than 20 years of real-world experience in starting and growing companies. He’s a frequent speaker at local business groups and contributor to a variety of business publications. When he’s not starting or leading a business, Tim is active in his local church and spends time with his wife and 3 kids.
Obsessed with: Finding the most efficient driving route
Favorite snack: Stroopwafels
Nicole touches the visual aspects of projects from start to finish. She provides creative direction, assists with design work, and checks the final details before a piece is completed. She’s active in a local chapter of Toastmasters International, and regularly attends creative events in the Southeast. Before joining UMG, she founded one of the Upstate’s early web design agencies.
On the weekends: Probably playing with her daughter
Secretly loves: video games
Ken has been a global creative director for some of the largest ad agencies in the world. A graduate of Boston University and the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Ken’s been part of David Droga’s global team in NYC and Sydney. He’s run Heineken for Publicis NY and served as CCO of Publicis Kuala Lumpur. Prior to advertising, Ken was a comedy writer in Hollywood where he was a personal writer to Jimmy Kimmel.
Little-known fact: Ken had his high school prom on the Eiffel Tower.

A recent graduate of Bob Jones University, Ethan’s field of expertise is all things design. As a freelancer for clients around the globe, he developed an unquenchable curiosity about how the world works, and he uses his findings to make his corner of the world as intuitive and efficient as possible.
Guilty pleasure: Reads over a 100 books a year.
Hidden talent: Plays a mean mandolin.
Raised in a family of advertising, Jackson was brought into the business at a young age. He worked on award-winning national campaigns and had his work featured in Times Square before graduating from high school. Now, as a copywriter and creative strategist intern here at UMG as well as a business-marketing student at Bob Jones University, he continues to develop a well-rounded understanding of the field.
Little-known fact: Jackson can quote almost every line from all 9 seasons of “The Office.”
Favorite color: Clear.
Justin loves all things digital. From search engine optimization to social media marketing, Justin understands how the online world operates. He strives to stay abreast of the latest trends and technology. Justin creates solid digital campaigns that will continue serving clients in the long run, rather than just creating quick, temporary solutions.

Andrea is, at heart, a community builder with a passion for people. She brings her heart into helping UMG clients understand their audience and implement marketing strategy that marries audience needs with company goals. Her background is in corporate communications for health care organizations, public relations for women entrepreneurs, co-leading the local blogger’s union, conducting research with a southeastern Millennial mom panel, email marketing, event management, and Hispanic advocacy. In her spare time, she performs and teaches piano, blogs creatively, enjoys raising her young kiddos, is a foster respite care mama, and dabbles in photography with her Nikon D750.

Daniel is passionate about understanding people and drawing them together. He has a degree in Humanities and several years of experience in customer service, including roles specifically focused on bilingual communication. In his free time, he runs a podcast and a local café talks group that both facilitate compassionate conversations.

Rosie does the magical work of turning designs from our creative studio into working websites. After 5 years working in graphic design, she enrolled in The Iron Yard for a bootcamp in coding. Now she uses her combined skills to make websites that both work well and look amazing!
Secret talent: Event planning
Hobbies: Shopping, powerlifting, and road trips
David helps plan digital marketing campaigns, create analytics reports, and perform search engine optimization. David is fascinated by the way digital marketing has transformed customer/company relationships, and he enjoys leveraging his expertise in communications and digital marketing to help clients navigate (and benefit from) this change. He’ll help you create digital marketing campaigns with measurable success.

Miriam is a student of human nature who’s a little obsessed with the power of language. As a writer and editor with uniquely diverse and global perspective, Miriam crafts compelling blog articles and social media posts that connect with your audience. When she’s not reading or writing, she volunteers as a supervisor for her neighborhood’s after-school program.
Little-known fact: Miriam grew up in the South American rainforest

Jon is passionate about understanding businesses and helping people succeed. That makes his role a great fit—he spends every day problem-solving and doing his best to help the UMG team get work done smoothly and on time. He had practice leading teams of people in college (including a crew of more than 80) and then managed a Starbucks for 2 years, where he learned a lot about business. It also makes him a bit of a coffee enthusiast! While you may never work with Jon directly, rest assured that his work daily improves your experience with us.

Ann DiAntonio has made a career study of leading people. After earning advanced degrees in science, Ann honed her leadership skills as a university professor, traveling consultant for a multi-million dollar organization, and entrepreneur. Ann is an outstanding speaker and communicator, and excels at improving personal presentation, client experience, and employee onboarding. Ann coaches our people and ensures that 30,000-foot ideas get translated to on-the-ground action steps that actually get done.
