Origin Story
Barely out of their teens and with their mother serving as the President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Ramon and Gustavo Nieves entered the world of Hispanic marketing much earlier than most. Ramon, with a natural gift for sales, served as the Chamber's Head of Marketing. It was here where he learned that while local businesses had a strong desire to market to Hispanic consumers, they had no idea how to go about it. It was this single fact alone that would change the trajectory of both their careers.
Gustavo would leave behind a successful computer repair company to join his brother full-time, and with a small whiteboard for brainstorming and $600 in seed funding, they created a logo, business cards, and a website. Just like that, from the comfort of their childhood bedrooms, the very first Hispanic agency in South Carolina was born.
All the way through college and business school, they kept growing the business. Ramon hunted down leads and engaged prospective clients, while Gustavo built websites and handled billing and product management. Every penny they made got reinvested into the company. Their first paying client, a small local jewelry shop in need of a business plan, provided the early momentum they needed to further their roster. A Colombian accountant in Simpsonville was next, which provided them the necessary momentum to pick up larger clients like Prisma Health.
Now, the Nieves brothers and their partners still own the only Hispanic Agency in SC; only now it’s grown into a million-dollar business with a team of about 20 and multiple great clients on retainer.
Community Engagement
The idea of family lives in everything we do, and a big part of that is making sure the place we call home continues to thrive and evolve. We believe the key to any successful family is being an active member of it.

Culture
Our razon de ser (Spanish for "reason to be") is to provide our clients with innovative ways to make genuine connections with Hispanic audiences. By sharing insights and creating messaging that is both powerful and culturally relevant, we allow you more than simply a peek behind the curtain: we remove the curtain.
The love we have for Hispanic culture comes from the fact that we live it every day. We enjoy a front row seat to all the incredible intricacies and celebrated nuances of being Hispanic. “One big, happy family” has been our mantra from the very beginning. Founded by two brothers, with both mom and dad as integral parts of the company, our mission is to introduce you to a culture as rich as it is complex and to help you uncover the many layers of what it means to be Hispanic.
Our goal is to provide you with more than just an understanding of what it’s like to have a seat at our table. We want to bring you into the family and give you a seat at the table too.
