(Greenville, S.C.) Feb 20, 2020 – UniComm Media Group (UMG), a full service, advertising agency with Hispanic marketing capabilities, was contracted to create a state-wide digital awareness campaign for the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF). UMG will develop an online campaign to promote and educate Hispanics about Virginia’s boating, fishing, hunting, trapping and wildlife viewing activities.
VDGIF is responsible for the management of inland fisheries, wildlife, and recreational boating for the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a leading wildlife conservation dedicated to awareness of outdoor activities and better experiences with nature. UMG will develop a creative campaign around the benefits and accessibility of enjoying the sport of fishing in Virginia and increase awareness of the state’s programs offered for Hispanic families.
VDGIF Executive Director, Ryan Brown, said, “Our partnership with UMG presents an exciting opportunity for the agency as we move forward with our efforts to enhance outdoor recreation opportunities for diverse audiences throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.”
UMG has worked with other wildlife agencies in the Southeast and also serves clients in tourism, healthcare, legal, technology and sports entertainment sectors.
“UMG is excited to be on VDGIF’s team to bring our resources, creativity and branding expertise to share the abundance of outdoor activity waiting to be discovered and enjoyed by more Hispanics in Virginia,” said Ramon Nieves-Lugo, principal of UniComm Media Group.
